Foodbud – User Data Deletion Policy
Foodbud is committed to protecting your privacy and providing clear, accessible ways for users to request deletion of their personal data.


How to Request Deletion of Your Data
You can request deletion of your Foodbud account and associated data at any time through one of the following methods:

 

Option 1: In-App Deletion

  • Open the Foodbud app

  • Navigate to Settings / Profile

  • Tap Delete Account

  • Confirm your request

 

Option 2: Request via Email
If you are unable to access the app, you can submit a request by emailing: info@foodbud.ai

 

Please include:

  • Your registered email address or phone number

  • Subject: “Account & Data Deletion Request”

 

What Data Will Be Deleted
When your request is processed, we will delete:

  • Your user account and profile information

  • Taste preferences and dietary data

  • Saved items (restaurants, menus, favourites)

  • Usage and activity history linked to your account

 

What Data May Be Retained
In certain cases, limited data may be retained where required for:

  • Legal obligations (e.g., compliance with applicable laws)

  • Security, fraud prevention, or abuse detection

 

Any retained data will be:

  • Minimised

  • Securely stored

  • Not used for advertising or profiling

 

Processing Timeline

  • Requests are processed within 7–14 business days

  • You will receive confirmation once your data has been deleted

 

Important Notes

  • Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

  • After deletion, your account cannot be recovered

  • You may need to verify your identity before we process the request
